CLASSICAL MUSIC IN
THE DIGITAL ERA

Concurrent with the Naxos release of Peter Breiner’s orchestrations of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, Nursery, Songs and Dances of Death in digital download only, we would like to initiate a discussion about downloads and how they affect classical music.

What is the future of classical music distribution? What opportunities does digital distribution offer classical music? How do we use digital delivery to provide easy access to the classical market? Can we use digital formats to encourage audiences back into the concert hall?

Panel Discussion and Q & A with leading musicians and
media experts.
